Contemplation

History.

History tells us this; those who are remembered are the one who stood their ground, the ones who fought the established order, or the ones who developed out of seemingly thin air.

Then why is it the ones who listened, evaluated, and compromised that society truly owes its existence to?

The derision many in society have today of themselves they are cold and selfish. Why then do we as a society encourage this behavior through the polarization of ourselves at every turn?

Have we really come to the point in society where nothing but perfection is acceptable?

The answer is yes. We as a society strive for perfection; and look down upon anything that does not meet a pre-conceived notion of what perfection is. We see it everywhere. We are told what perfection does, looks like, sounds like.

Is this a new thing? No; mankind has always aimed towards perfection. Whether it be a case today where perfection is determined by who has the best looks, most money, or the best ideas; or if it is examined from a historical perspective where the same values still hold true.

What is the point?

We are not perfect. We will never be perfect.

Why? THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS PERFECTION AS WE WANT TO UNDERSTAND IT.

Perfection is individual.

Perfection is universal

Perfection is US.
